Bone Broth Rice
White rice is just so much yummier than brown rice. But, technically brown rice is “healthier”. That’s because it has more micronutrients (vitamins and minerals).
By cooking your white rice in ghee and bone broth, we are adding back some nutrients that has been stripped away. Ghee is a great source of healthy fat, essential for brain health. And, bone broth is full of protein and minerals that can help with gut health, inflammation, sleep, joints, and immunity!
Ingredients
½ Cup Jasmine Rice
1 Cup Chicken Bone Broth
1 Tbsp Ghee
Rinse rice in a mesh strainer.
Melt ghee in a pot over medium heat. Add rice and mix thoroughly.
Turn heat to low and add in bone broth.
Place lid on pot and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until there is no liquid remaining. (Pro Tip: wrap the lid in a kitchen towel, careful not to let it touch the burner).
Fluff rice with a fork and enjoy!
