Protein Chai Latte
A surprisingly tasty way to get in 30 grams of protein. You can have this recipe hot or over ice.
This is a cozy morning staple for me. I know how important it is to start the day with at least 30 grams of protein, so when I’m in the mood to just sit with a warm drink and journal before making breakfast, this is my go-to.
I’m not a huge fan of protein powders. I find that a lot of them have added fillers or taste very chalky. I am a huge fan of the Paleo Valley Bone Broth Protein. If you’re not a protein powder fan, give that one a try. It has great ingredients and doesn’t break the bank!
Ingredients
2 Scoops Paleo Valley Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Scoop Thrive Market MCT + Collagen Powder
3/4 Cup Creamy Oat Milk
⅓ Cup Chai Tea
¼ Tsp Cinnamon (if you like extra spice)
Optional
⅓ cup coffee (I use decaf in the mornings)
2 Tbsp Califa Pumpkin Spice Creamer (when the fall season cravings happen)
For Iced:
Add all ingredients to a cup. Mix well. Add ice cubes and enjoy!
For Hot:
Add all ingredients to a pot. Mix well on medium heat.
Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
